School Uniform

Wearing a uniform is a badge of pride and creates an identity for our school. Wearing it says we are all in this together. If you wear your uniform with pride, it means you are half way there to being respectful, buying into what our school is all about.

A school uniform teaches pupils to dress smartly and take pride in their appearance. Uniforms help pupils to prepare for when they leave primary school and will be expected to dress smartly in a uniform at secondary school.

Uniform

From Reception to Y5, pupils are expected to wear a bottle green jumper or cardigan, white polo shirt and black or grey trousers, skirt or pinafore. There is no expectation to have the school logo on these items but the option is there if you order from one of our recognised providers below.

Y6

Y6 pupils wear the same as above other than the colour of their jumper. Pupils receive one purple “Leavers” sweatshirt free of charge. Additional ones can be ordered direct from Motif8 if parents wish to purchase more.

Footwear

As part of our uniform expectations, pupils should wear plain black shoes or smart, plain black trainers.

PE Kit

Pupils will be expected to do some PE lessons outside, even in winter and should therefore have the following in their kit bag:

• T-shirt (plain white round neck)
• Shorts (plain dark green or black)
• Jogging bottoms or leggings (plain black)
• PE hoodie (to be ordered from school with correct House name on or plain colour to match House)
• Outdoor trainers
• Indoor gym shoes / plimsolls
• Spare socks to change from tights (if applicable)

Forest School

• A full change of clothes, including warm jumper, socks and underwear
• A hat (appropriate to the weather) and a pair of gloves
• Wellies
