At Rosebrook Primary School, we use AI to enhance our educational practises and administrative processes in line with our Responsible AI Usage Policy. Specifically:

• We use SLT AI to support school leadership by automating certain administrative tasks, freeing up time for our leadership team to focus on being visible, excellent leaders.
• We utilise ChatGPT to assist teachers in reducing their workload, allowing them to dedicate more time to delivering excellent teaching and personalising learning experiences for our pupils.

However, we recognise the limitations of AI tools and do not use them to make any decisions about a pupil’s future, such as career advice or subject choices. We also take reasonable steps to prevent malpractice involving the use of generative AI in formal assessments, following the guidance provided by the Joint Council for Qualifications.

Importantly, we are committed to the safe, ethical, and effective use of AI in our school. This includes regular risk assessments, continuous monitoring, and strict adherence to data protection regulations. We also provide comprehensive training and support to ensure our staff and pupils use AI responsibly and understand its capabilities, limitations, and potential biases.
